BCI Contracting

BCI Contracting and its three partners Drew, Dan, and Dave Porter have been restoring and enhancing Pacific NW habitats for over thirty years.

Design philosophy has changed over the decades.  Our commitment to delivering the finest quality work while being creative in our use and modification of tools and equipment allows us to push the boundaries of modern habitat restoration design.  This is the foundation of BCI Contracting and its staff of highly experienced managers and operators.

Our specialties range from mass excavation to fine-detail grading, natural process wood placement, resetting entire valley floors known as “stage zero”, to constructing challenging engineered log jams, stream and river restoration, and fish passage improvements.  We provide  construction services throughout Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii.  BCI offers services of construction feasibility analysis, value engineering, and construction with an outcome-driven focus that has provided satisfaction and beneficial use for property owners and managers, as well as recreational users.

We are committed to socially and environmentally responsible business operations.  BCI has a history and commitment to hiring, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.  Our foundation is built upon established practices of hiring diverse candidates and WBE subcontractors.  BCI is comprised of individuals from a wide variety of histories and restoration philosophies that come together through a shared passion for embracing restorative efforts.
